Do you ever find yourself in need of some sugar? No euphemisms involved, I'm talking about actual  pure sugar. If you ever find yourself in a situation when you just have to eat something chocolatey, here's something you can make: chocolate flower bread.

Here's what you'll need:
400g flour
3dl water
20g yeast
2 spoons sugar
a pinch salt
1 egg
3 spoons oil
Nutella

Put sugar and yeast in 1dl of warm water and leave for a few minutes. In a larger bowl mix flour and salt. Pour in the yeast mixture, add oil and a yolk (the egg white will be used later). Mix well and form a ball - when you push your finger in the dough, it should pop back out (otherwise add either more water or flour). Leave the dough for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough into 4 parts and roll them out in circles (about 0.5cm wide). Put the first circle on a baking pan and cover with Nutella. Put the second circle over it and cover that one with jam. Take the third part of the dough and put it on top.

Then comes the cutting and spinning. First, take a glass and gently press it to the middle of the circle so you know which part not to cut (picture 1). Cut the circle into 12 parts (picture 2). Now take 2 of the parts and twist them towards each other twice. Repeat this with each part (picture 3).
Now lightly whisk the egg white and brush it onto the flower. Put in the oven for half an hour at 180°C.

And that's it! You can also sprinkle some ground sugar on it. To serve, just rip it apart piece by piece and enjoy.
